3) I wish for a speedy end to the coronavirus pandemic.

4) I wish for no more food waste.

5) I wish for environmental protection so we can continue to enjoy the wonders of nature.

6) I wish you lots of learning.

7) I wish you lots of laughter.

8) I wish you brotherly love.

9) I wish you a spectacular year filled with curiosity, growth, and happiness for my sweet 9-year-old boy!

Wishes from The Wender Family

1)  In addition to raising money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, we wish that you will also go in person to volunteer there, now that you’re old enough.  Our twin boys are 12.5, and they go with friends a few times each year to unload boxes and sort items.  It’s not only a huge mitzvah, but it’s also a ton of fun!
2)  We hope you’ll also find ways to volunteer with other organizations now that you’re turning 9.  There are so many great ways that kids can help our community.
3)  As you turn 9, we wish you'll keep being a good role model to your little brother.  Remember that he looks up to you!
4)  We also wish that you’ll respect and be nice to your parents.  (We’ve seen that as kids get a little older, they sometimes forget how important that is.)
5)  As COVID-19 is still here, we wish that you and all of your friends and family will stay healthy.  Keep washing your hands!
6)  You exceeded your $999 goal very quickly!  Wish #6 is that you'll continue fundraising for and donating to causes that are important to you.
7)  Your birthday project is proof that an almost-9-year-old kid can make a huge impact.  So we really wish that you’ll keep speaking up!  Our world feels pretty broken right now and we need more kids like you to give us hope for the future.
8)  Speaking of hope for the future, our second-to-last wish is for World Peace.  That’s a really big wish, isn’t it?
9)  Our last wish is that on June 23, when you blow out the candles on your birthday cake, whatever YOU wish for will come true!

From Ms. Wootten

 7) We wish our family and friends will continue to make valuable contributions to the world.

I hope you have the happiest of birthdays, knowing that you did something to help so many people - what a beautiful gesture and giving to those in need is the greatest gift of all.
